Meet CRENC Fellow  Dr Domin Sone M.Ekaney  an Aspiring Health Systems and Promotion Specialist currently Engaged in a Specialized Master in Public Health Methodology at the Université de libre Bruxelles (ULB)

In an environment where most students get their first exposure to clinical research in their final year thesis projects, many are left with a sense of despair towards this life-changing activity( research). This being typical of me, I decided to challenge the status quo by teaming up with colleagues in creating a non-profit known as Health Education and Research Organization (HERO) Cameroon aimed at raising awareness on health concerns and carrying out non-partisan research on these concerns of public health magnitude and in vulnerable communities.

My desire for more exposure and mentorship led to an opportunity to do fellowship training at the Clinical Research Education Networking and Consultancy (CRENC) a Reference Research institution in Africa. Thanks to the CRENC my values in excellence in research, leadership and mentorship have been refurbished through working in top local and international research projects with experts in various fields.

I will forever remain grateful to the CRENC for paving my way to the top and helping me impact change to my world.
