Calypse A. Ngwasiri, MD, MPH

Calypse A. Ngwasiri, MD is a physician and clinical researcher, currently working as a medical officer at the Bamendjou District Hospital. In July 2016, he graduated as a medical doctor with honors from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea and later gained fellowship at the CRENC (Clinical Research Education, Networking and Consultancy) in November of the same year.

As a senior fellow, he engages in research project leadership and management, acts as a research assistant and also aids in tutoring/mentoring of the fellows in training. He participated as project leader in a number of multinational projects including MMM17, MOZART and has co-authored over four research publications.

Whilst pursuing a career in clinical dermatology, his research interests focus on chronic disease epidemiology and prevention in developing countries.
