Dr. Bonaventure Suiru Dzekem, MD obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Buea, Cameroon in 2015. He served as a general physician in public and private hospitals in Cameroon for two years before moving to the University of Ibadan, Nigeria for post graduate studies as a Pan-African University scholar. Bonaventure has been a member of the CRENC since 2014 where he currently serves as the General coordinator and Public relations officer.

Dr Dzekem has participated in several clinical and research oriented conferences either as an organizer or a speaker at national and international levels. He is author/co-author to several articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer for the Cardiovascular Journal of Africa. He has special interest for cardiovascular and sports medicine and is keen at looking at the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) on healthcare in Africa. He is the founder of the Cameroon-based start-up – KEAFON Health.
