AKO Annabel MANGWI, MD

Dr Ako Annabel Mangwi, MD is a young dynamic medical doctor who defended her MD thesis from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Douala. She has worked with the University of Douala English speaking medical and pharmacy students  association (UDEMPSA), where she served as vice president of the association for two years from 2013-2015, association which offers medical services to the less privileged. She volunteers with the Loving Hearts Foundation (LHF), a nonprofit non-governmental organization which aims at connecting loving Giving Hearts to loving Needy Hearts to enhance Humanitarian action, peace,  and help meet the basic needs of the less privileged.

She works as a research assistant for the Clinical Research Education Networking and Consultancy (CRENC) and is currently coordinating one of the lead projects known as the Comparison of three combination therapies in lowering blood pressure in black Africans (CREOLE) study.
